Applications

The tape is used to attach heatsinks in:

  • laptops – graphics chips and power delivery,
  • PC graphics cards – between the heatsink and the GPU, power delivery,
  • RAM modules,
  • consumer electronics – LCD TVs, amplifiers and other heat-generating electronics.

How to attach a heatsink

  1. Make sure both surfaces are completely clean.
  2. Remove the protective film from one side and stick the tape to the underside of the heatsink.
  3. Remove the second film and stick the heatsink to the component to be cooled (chipset, graphics chip, MOSFETs, RAM, etc.).
  4. Position the heatsink accurately the first time – the tape bonds instantly.

How to remove the heatsink

Carefully lift one corner of the heatsink with a thin knife and detach it from the component with gentle twisting movements. Clean both surfaces before reinstalling.
