Quiet 120 mm fan with FDB bearing
AABCOOLING Black Jet Fan 12 is a quiet and efficient 120 mm computer fan. It runs at a constant speed of 1600 rpm (±10%) and delivers an airflow of 170 m³/h at a noise level of just 20.9 dB(A).
The fan has 15 specially profiled blades that increase performance (by approx. 65% compared with a standard fan) and reduce noise. The motor with a modern IC ensures stable operation.

Smooth, quiet operation is ensured by the oil-filled FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing), with a service life of up to 100,000 hours – much longer than sleeve bearings. Mounting screws and silicone anti-vibration washers are included.
Key features
- 15 profiled blades and a motor with IC
- Quiet operation – 20.9 dB(A)
- Efficient airflow – 170 m³/h
- Oil-filled FDB bearing – 100,000 h service life
- Cable in black sleeving, 3-pin connector
- Solid construction, high-gloss frame
- Mounting screws and silicone anti-vibration washers included

Advantages of the FDB bearing
- no friction between bearing parts – longer service life,
- the oil dampens vibrations,
- noise is generated practically only by the fan blades,
- protection against oil leakage,
- spiral oil filling ensures even lubrication of the entire bearing,
- a solution also used in hard drives.

Applications
Case cooling works by expelling warm air. The power supply fan alone often cannot provide good cooling, despite running at high speed and making a lot of noise. AABCOOLING Black Jet Fan 12 can be used as:
- a computer case fan – with two fans, one at the front and one at the rear of the case, you get very good airflow,
- a fan on a CPU heatsink (size 120 × 120 × 25 mm),
- a quiet replacement for a noisy power supply fan.

Mounting and connection
The fan is fixed with four screws, just like standard fans in cases and power supplies (hole spacing 105 × 105 mm). This makes replacing a noisy fan with a quieter one quick and easy.
Ways to connect the fan when mounted in a power supply:
- connect the fan to a 3-pin header on the motherboard and route the cable (30 cm) into the power supply through a gap – the fan speed can then be read in the BIOS,
- take apart the 3-pin plug and connect the fan directly inside the power supply: the black wire is ground, the red is plus (+) and the yellow carries the speed signal (if it is not connected, the BIOS cannot read the speed). Taking the plug apart voids the right to return the product.
