Set of 3 – AABCOOLING Silent Jet Fan 12 PWM
The set includes 3 pcs of AABCOOLING Silent Jet Fan 12 PWM. The description below refers to a single item.
Quiet 120 mm PWM fan with FDB bearing
AABCOOLING Silent Jet Fan 12 PWM is a 12 cm fan from the JET series with 15 turbine blades. This design increases performance by approx. 65% compared with standard fans and reduces noise at the same time.
The motor with a modern IC PWM controller ensures stable operation, and the quiet, oil-filled FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) provides a service life of up to 100,000 h – much longer than sleeve bearings. The speed is controlled by a PWM signal in the range of 400–1600 rpm (±10%) – automatically via the motherboard BIOS. Airflow: up to 170 m³/h, noise level: 8.9–20.9 dB(A).

Key features

Applications
The fan improves PC cooling by exhausting warm air from the case – something the power supply fan alone often cannot do, even at high speed and with considerable noise. You can install it:
- on a 120 mm CPU cooler heatsink – as a quiet replacement for a noisy fan,
- in a PC case – at the front, rear or on the side panel,
- in an ATX computer power supply.
FDB bearing
- no friction and extended service life,
- vibrations damped by oil,
- noise generated only by the fan blades,
- protection against oil leakage,
- spiral oil distribution for even lubrication of the entire bearing,
- technology also used in hard drives.
Ordinary sleeve bearings rub against each other during operation and heat up, which significantly shortens their service life.
Installation and connection
The fan is fastened with four screws, just like standard fans in cases and power supplies, so replacing a noisy fan is quick and easy. In a power supply you can connect it in two ways:
- To the motherboard – route the 30 cm cable into the power supply through any gap. You can then read the current fan speed in the BIOS.
- Directly in the power supply – after disassembling or cutting off the 4-pin plug: the black wire is ground (–), the red wire is power (+). In most power supplies these two wires are sufficient – the yellow (speed signal) and the blue or green (PWM control) wires can be left unconnected.
Note: disassembling or cutting off the plug excludes the possibility of returning the fan.
