Quiet 92 mm PWM-controlled fan
AABCOOLING Super Silent Fan 9 PWM is a quiet 92 mm fan controlled by a PWM signal. Silicone anti-vibration pads for the screws are included to reduce vibration.
The speed (600–2200 rpm ±10%) is controlled automatically by the motherboard via the PWM signal, according to the BIOS settings. Airflow is 17.5–58 m³/h and the noise level 9.5–17.9 dB(A). When connected to a 3-pin header, the fan runs without automatic speed control.
Smooth, quiet operation is ensured by the FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) with a service life of 100,000 hours – considerably longer than that of conventional sleeve bearings.

Key features
- Automatic PWM speed control: 600–2200 rpm
- Solid construction: 92 × 92 × 25 mm
- Modern IC motor with PWM control
- Cable in black braided sleeve
- Quiet FDB bearing (Fluid Dynamic Bearing)
- Airflow: 17.5–58 m³/h
- Noise level: 9.5–17.9 dB(A)
- Ideal for 92 mm CPU coolers
- Service life: 100,000 h
- Mounting screws and anti-vibration pads included
Applications
The fan expels warm air from the computer case – where the power supply fan alone is often not enough, despite high speed and loud operation. With dimensions of 92 × 92 × 25 mm, it can be installed:
- on the front, rear or side panel of a PC case
- on the CPU heatsink – replacing a noisy fan
- in an ATX computer power supply
FDB bearing
Conventional sleeve bearings rub against each other during operation, heat up and wear out faster. The FDB bearing offers:
- no friction and a longer service life
- vibration damped by the oil film
- low noise – only the blades can be heard
- protection against oil leakage
- spiral oil distribution for even lubrication of the whole bearing
- a solution proven in hard disk drives
Installation in the case or power supply
The fan is fixed with four screws, just like standard power supply fans, so replacing a noisy fan is quick and easy. In a power supply it can be connected in two ways:
- To the fan header on the motherboard – route the cable (30 cm) into the power supply through a small gap. The fan speed can then be read in the BIOS.
- Directly inside the power supply after taking apart or cutting off the 4-pin plug: black wire – ground (−), red – power (+). In most power supplies these two wires are sufficient – yellow (speed signal) and blue or green (PWM control) do not need to be connected.
Note: taking apart or cutting off the plug excludes the possibility of returning the product.
